The Soft starter Sirius 3RW40 is intended for high power asynchronous motors (250 kW). The soft starter allow easy start-up, protects the motor against overload, reduces the current expenditure, cheaper than utilize of the facilities. These devices are equipped with features unique to this energy range: semiconductor motor overburden security and built-in device defense, regulating current qualification and two-phase control method. Siemens 3RW40 soft starters are part of the SIRIUS modular system. Consequently, they have identical dimensions and wiring schemes. Thanks to its special compact dimensions, Siemens soft starters are half the dimension of star-delta starters, thereby they take up minimum space in the switch cabinet. At the contactor, they are applied as safety-free starting union for electric engines.
