Simotics Main motors is a high-end servo-engines produced peculiarly for automatic of motion control. The asynchronous motor Simotics M (Main motor) is designed for manufacturing employment to operate with high performance and a little service. The Main motor produced for inverter operation is lower and has a higher power density than a standard 3-phase asynchronous engine. Simotics Main engines have incremental encoders for speed control and feedback apparatus for positioning tasks. Working without an encoder is as well feasible for plain tasks.
